Phones are useful for learning — and full of interruptions. StudyLumen is the middle ground between repeating reminders and taking the phone away: clear, supervisor-controlled study routines that keep useful tools available.
What StudyLumen is
StudyLumen is a pair of apps. StudyLumen Parent runs on the supervisor's phone; StudyLumen Child runs on the supervised Android device. They pair by QR code, and the supervisor creates routines — Homework Mode, Bedtime Mode, Exam Focus, Weekend Balance — that block distracting apps and websites while learning tools, calling, and maps stay available. The supervised user never needs an account, and can request temporary access whenever a block gets in the way.
Study-first, not surveillance
StudyLumen exists to protect study time, bedtime, and focus — not to expose the supervised user's life. It does not upload messages, browsing history, or notification content.
On-device by design
Blocking and website filtering run locally on the supervised device. Rules are signed and verified before they apply, and enforcement keeps working offline.
Boundaries without battles
Routines apply automatically, and the supervised user can always ask for access instead of arguing for it. Supervisors approve or deny in a tap.
